Ever since I was six, I have always been interested in foreign languages and cultures, art, and photography. Therefore, after teaching Foreign Language and Art History, I entered the travel business. Little did I know I would become totally addicted to the profession, to the point where I carry my laptop and I work seven days a week, even while traveling. My favorite mission is to expose my clients to something new and as well as to have them enjoy their favorite locales from previous trips. I have been a member of the Travelers’ Century Club for many years and have visited 236 of the 330 countries on their list. (Some are actually remote territories rather than countries, e.g., Hawaii, Alaska, the Galapagos.) I also learn a lot from my clients when they return from their dream vacation and rave about their trips. Twice a year, I escort small groups to places they would probably not visit on their own. I have led my tiny groups to Outer Mongolia, Cuba, Myanmar, Tibet, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Madagascar and Mozambique, Borneo and Brunei, Tonga, Kiribati, and Tuvalu, Uganda, Rwanda, and Zanzibar. Upcoming group trips will be to Tahiti and the Marquesas, Iran, Greenland, Easter Island, and Pitcairn Island.
